Following extensive input from across the STEM education sector, CSIRO Education and Outreach is now working to collaboratively develop practical tools, frameworks, and approaches to support evidence-informed program design, delivery, and evaluation. Our aim is to strengthen how we work together, making it easier to share, adopt, and adapt what works for greater collective impact.
We’ve heard from you that there’s a strong need for shared ways to conceptualise and measure impact for STEM education initiatives. We want to ensure these tools and frameworks are designed to meet the needs of the whole sector — including program design, funding, and evaluation — while supporting more inclusive and impactful STEM education.
During the session, we will:
- Share an update on our collaborative work so far
- Reflect on ways we can learn from each other and generate greater value across the sector
- Discuss what will be most useful and workable in practice-whether for program design, funding, delivery, reporting, or impact measurement
This session is about not just developing practical solutions, but also fostering a culture of ongoing learning and shared practice. Whether you’ve been closely involved so far or are new to the process, your perspective is valuable in shaping resources that will support our shared goals.
