Do you need to make decisions based on a deeper understanding of the whole Australian energy system, its transition and connections to other infrastructure and the environment? Do you want to understand the energy use patterns, consumer energy resource investment aspirations, and policy needs of Australians from all walks of life?
The National Energy Analysis Centre (NEAC) combines the energy information and insights from Australian households and businesses with state of the art energy system modelling, analysis and visualisation tools, based on rigorous systems science.
You can use NEAC to:
- Conduct research ranging from a single survey to a multi-year trial with installed energy monitoring devices
- Test new energy products in homes and businesses and understand the implications for the broader system
- Monitor and evaluate consumer energy programs
- Model parts of the energy system, or all of it, including interactions with other systems such as water and transport. Model at scales ranging from suburbs and industrial hubs to the whole country
- Support decarbonisation goals with enhanced regional energy system planning
- Evaluate energy security and resilience across jurisdictions in a range of existing and future scenarios.
Join this webinar to hear NEAC Director Dr Stephen Craig, and other members of the team, explain how you can use NEAC to make insightful decisions. There will also be time for questions and answers.
