Max Temminghoff, Associate Director, CSIRO Futures

Max is an Associate Director in the CSIRO Futures team with extensive experience working closely with researchers and industry leaders in the energy and aviation sectors to understand emerging technologies and develop strategies to encourage their uptake.

Max is the lead author of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Roadmap, and has managed aviation fuel analysis for government clientele, and has led analysis for the Opportunities for hydrogen in commercial aviation and National Hydrogen Roadmap reports.

Dr Kimberly Camrass Regional Sustainability Lead – Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific, Global Sustainability Engagement and Partnerships, Boeing

Dr Kimberly Camrass is a sustainability professional with a PhD in Regenerative Futures. In her current role as Regional Sustainability Lead at Boeing, Kimberly drives efforts to decarbonise aviation across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. Kimberly is Boeing’s representative on the Federal Government’s Jet Zero Council and is also driving aviation sustainability through partnerships with industry, State Governments and the research sector.

Kimberly is an Adjunct Fellow at the University of the Sunshine Coast and is engaged in strategic foresight and futures work globally to drive innovative thinking around regeneration and sustainability. She is a published author, with works covering a range of themes, including futures studies, regeneration, sustainability and leadership.

Flyn van Ewijk, Regional Director, Asia Pacific, LanzaJet

Flyn van Ewijk is Regional Director, Asia Pacific for LanzaJet where he is responsible for the planning, development and execution of the company’s strategic objectives and sustainable aviation fuel projects across Asia Pacific. Flyn has two decades of experience in the aviation and sustainable aviation fuel sectors. Flyn has dedicated his career to building SAF industries in the United States and Australia, having held leadership roles developing waste-to-SAF projects in the United States, and with Qantas where he led the airline’s SAF strategy.

Flyn also Chairs the SAF Alliance of Australia and New Zealand (SAFAANZ), which advocates on behalf of industry for the policy settings needed to support a domestic SAF industry.
