Celebrating 10 years of RV Investigator

Dear RV Investigator voyage participant,

As part of our at-sea family and Marine National Facility (MNF) alumni, I would like to invite you to join us to celebrate a decade of incredible science delivered by our blue-water research vessel, RV Investigator!

To mark the 10-year anniversary of vessel commissioning on 12 December 2014, we'll be holding a celebratory event in Hobart for voyage participants, past and present, to gather and share memories from their time at sea. The event will feature short presentations from guest speakers, and finger food and refreshments will be provided.

While the impressive research achievements of the past decade wouldn't have been possible without you, we recognise that our alumni are spread far and wide and it may not be possible for you to attend this celebration in Hobart.

If you aren't able to join us, I'd like to take this opportunity to personally say thank you for your contribution over the past 10 years. I hope this invitation gives you pause to think back on a successful voyage, good memories from your time at sea, or the role you played in making RV Investigator a reality.
