Do you have an interest in creating a positive future for Australia’s farming systems and agricultural communities?

The Ag2050 Scenarios Hackathon is a unique opportunity that brings together bright minds from across CSIRO to consider what solutions are needed for a prosperous and sustainable Australian agriculture sector.

This one-day event begins with you and your team exploring different plausible futures for farming systems in Australia out to 2050. Through a series of interactive sessions, your team will identify emerging challenges and design potential R&D solutions. One proposal will receive a seed funding prize to help translate your idea into a tangible research opportunity.

Not an agriculture researcher? No problem! This hackathon is open to all CSIRO staff from all research backgrounds interested in helping the agriculture sector prepare for the future.

Don’t miss this opportunity to play a role in shaping a more profitable, productive and sustainable future for Australia’s farming systems!

Please note that this event is open to CSIRO staff only. Registration is free, but travel and accommodation costs will need to be funded from project funds.
