ANSIS Training: Viewing soil data using the ANSIS site-report, visualiser and summary tools

Have you heard about the Australian National Soil Information System (ANSIS), but are not sure what it is or how to use it?

ANSIS provides access to standardised soil data and information from multiple organisations across Australia to support improved sustainable soil management. ANSIS is the new place to find nationally consistent, useable soil data and information.

Join the ANSIS team for a series of 1-hour online training sessions to help you better understand the range of ANSIS tools and help you get the soil data that you need. Each training session will cover a different aspect of ANSIS.

The ANSIS training is free, however, registration is essential.

Viewing soil data using the ANSIS site-report, visualiser and summary tools

This training session will take you through the basics of viewing soil site data via different ANSIS tools. This training is at an introductory level and is for anyone interested in viewing soil data using different ANSIS tools.

By the end of this training, you will know how to use the ANSIS site-report to create a downloadable report for any ANSIS site, the ANSIS visualiser to draw maps of soil property values and explore the variation of soil properties down a profile, and the ANSIS summary tool to show the variability soil properties across Australia.
