Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) is essential for meeting both national and global net-zero targets. CSIRO's recently published Australian Carbon Dioxide Removal Roadmap outlines how a novel CDR industry could help Australia—and the world—achieve these goals.

Join us for the launch of Building a Workforce for Novel Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) Technologies in Australia. This first of its kind report examines the current and future workforce needs required to scale novel CDR across the country. It explores what this emerging workforce may look like, highlights the challenges and opportunities ahead, and identifies the next steps needed to build the skills and capabilities essential for realising the potential of novel CDR.

As part of the event, you will hear from the report's lead authors, followed by a panel discussion featuring experts from industry, policy, and research. Whether you work in climate, workforce development, innovation, policy, or strategy, this will be relevant to anyone working to shape our net-zero future.
