Australian Industrial Hemp Conference 2026

The Australian Industrial Hemp Conference (AIHC) was established to foster collaboration across Australia's industrial hemp sector. Our fifth conference, "Growing Together", will celebrate the industry's progress since hemp's legalization in 2017 while focusing on the opportunities ahead.

Industrial hemp aligns strongly with national priorities around climate adaptation, sustainable agriculture, regional economic development, and circular bioeconomy innovation. As Australia responds to increasing climate and resource challenges, hemp has the potential to contribute to resilient farming systems, low-carbon materials, sustainable food products, and emerging biomanufacturing industries.

AIHC 2026 will bring together growers, processors, researchers, businesses, policymakers, and investors to showcase achievements, identify barriers to growth, and explore pathways for building competitive and integrated value chains. State and national industry bodies will share their perspectives on industry progress and future priorities, alongside international speakers highlighting developments from Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
