Australia’s food system is in urgent need of attention. We feed 100 million people globally, and yet access to healthy food remains a major issue for many Australians. This new report explores how we can work towards a future food system that delivers nutritional security for all, that is economically viable, socially just and environmentally sustainable.
In this new report CSIRO has explored our currently limited view of the food system and what we can do differently to meet our food system goals. The report uses science to explain the challenges and opportunities and how we can better connect the different elements. It’s a call to action to create the food system we want for the future.
The panel, moderated by Larelle McMillan, will explore the findings of the report and the next steps.
