The Quantum Phenomenon Comes to Melbourne

On behalf of the organising committee, I invite you to join us in Melbourne this December for the International Conference on Quantum Energy 2023.

Hosted by CSIRO, Australia's national science agency, ICQE 2023 is the inaugural event of a biennial conference that focuses on the multifaceted topic of energy in quantum systems. We have created a three-day conference that brings a cross-disciplinary perspective on the fundamental understanding and technical engineering of quantum systems for energy harvesting, conversion, storage and transport processes.

Join global experts, industry partners and policy makers to find out about the latest developments in quantum thermodynamics, quantum transport, quantum information theory, quantum chemistry, quantum biology, spectroscopy, light-harvesting devices, optoelectronics, nuclear fusion, photochemistry, quantum materials, state-of-the-art battery technologies and other quantum energy-related topics.

To complement the comprehensive conference program we are planning a packed agenda of science, food, arts, cafes and culture that will showcase the very best Melbourne has to offer.

In the months leading up to the conference, we will be providing regular updates. If you know anyone that shares our passion for quantum science, please feel free to forward this invitation to them.

I am thrilled to let you know that we have now confirmed five fantastic keynote presenters for the International Conference on Quantum Energy (ICQE 2023). Together these esteemed speakers offer both broad and deep insights into quantum’s role in addressing our future energy challenges and opportunities.

ICQE 2023 will be hosted on 4-6 December in Melbourne by Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO. This three-day event offers a comprehensive cross-disciplinary program dedicated to advancing fundamental understanding and increasing technical expertise in quantum systems for energy harvesting, conversion, storage and transport.

This is sure to be a memorable and important quantum event. Early bird registrations are open, so act now to secure your place.
