Some of the fastest growing and in-demand new jobs in coming years are expected to be in more advanced digital fields where the application of emerging technology will be critical. To ensure there is a sustainable pipeline of graduates, the Government has funded CSIRO to manage two programs of competitive national scholarships over the next six years.

  • the Next Generation Artificial Intelligence Graduates Program will attract and train up to 234 home-grown, job-ready AI specialists through competitive national scholarships
  • the Next Generation Emerging Technology Graduates Program will attract and train up to an additional 234 home-grown, job-ready specialists in other emerging technologies, such as robotics, cyber security, quantum computing, blockchain and data through competitive national scholarships.

During this webinar Professor Sally Cripps, (Research Director, Analytics and Decision Sciences, Data 61, CSIRO) will provide an introduction to the program and discuss how your University can be involved.
