22 April 2021 is International Mother Earth Day. A day when millions of citizens from across the globe will plant trees, clean up the environment and take up the challenge of minimising their impact to the planet.

In this webinar we will look at some of the GLOBE activities teachers might use with their students to mark the day and celebrate our planet and the environment. Citizen scientists have an increasingly important role to play in our understanding of Earth’s systems and our global environment. Accurate and reliable citizen science collected data can often be used by researchers in cases where scale, tight timelines or location is a problem.

The webinar will be suitable for both primary and secondary school teachers.
