CSIRO’s Ending Plastic Waste (EPW) Mission in development has the goal of an 80 per cent reduction in plastic waste entering the Australian environment by 2030.

To achieve this, we are building a co-ordinated response to revolutionise the way we make, use, recycle and dispose of plastic.

The symposium will showcase a range of cutting-edge research to support industry and government. This includes how to turn waste into a commodity to generate economic benefits for the nation, digital solutions to monitor rubbish, transforming plastic packaging and behavioural science.

You will hear first-hand keynote addresses, research presentations and panel discussions, alongside the opportunity to network with industry, researchers, policy makers and other organisations leading initiatives to reduce plastic waste.
