More information

The first two days will feature presentations and interactions with CSIRO’s SAR users and also invited external experts to share current developments in radar remote sensing, summarise recent SAR research activities and exchange skills/ideas for enhancement of our SAR capabilities. Day three will be dedicated to discussions on research priorities for new techniques and applications, with a focus on establishing new collaborations with non-SAR users.

The three days will provide a forum of discussion for our growing SAR community and also support non-SAR researchers to learn more about SAR, identify how SAR could help their research, and foster collaborative opportunities with our SAR scientists.

We invite attendees to participate by presenting 20-minute talks on recent SAR research progress, projects and challenges. We also encourage non-SAR users who are joining us to provide 5 - 10 minute overviews of research projects where there is an interest in what benefits SAR data might offer. Please express your interest in presenting by submitting a title during registration or emailing Amy.Parker@csiro.au by 31 May 2019.

This event is supported by the "SAR Science Initiative" funded under the Space Technologies Future Science Platform. Partial support for travel and accommodation costs is available for those joining from outside of Canberra, with priority given to those presenting at the workshop. Please get in touch with Amy.Parker@csiro.au if support is required.
