CSIRO Alumni together with ATSE invites you to the Sir Alan Walsh lecture which commemorates the achievements of Sir Alan Walsh; who was the originator and developer of the atomic absorption method of chemical analysis, which revolutionized quantitative analysis in the 1950s and 1960s. In the spirit of Sir Alan’s achievements, a presentation from Boron Molecular Director Zoran Manev and CSIRO’s Dr Oliver Hutt will demonstrate how new markets can continue to be developed and captured through collaboration and incubation of new chemical innovations. Critically, successful technology transfer requires strong and dedicated relationship management and this presentation will chart the steps this local manufacturer has undertaken to achieve success in the global marketplace.
