More information

The Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies (GHGT) conference series was formed in 1997 following the merger of the earlier series of ICCDR and the Greenhouse Gas: Mitigation options conference.

The IEA Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme (IEAGHG) is the guardian of the conference series. The GHGT conferences are held every two years in IEAGHG's member countries. The conference series rotates between North America, Europe and Asia.

The GHGT conference series has established itself as the principal international conference on greenhouse gas mitigation technologies especially on CCS (CO2 Capture and Storage).

Each conference will be a forum for technical discussions related to the field of greenhouse gas control technology. This field can be defined, broadly, as technologies that allow us to continue using our large fossil energy reserves while reducing their associated greenhouse gas emissions.

GHGT-14 Conference opens Sunday 21st October with registration from 12.30 - 16.30 at the MCEC followed by Welcome Drinks 18.30 - 21.30 at the National Gallery of Victoria. The Conference Programme starts on Monday 22nd October through to Thursday 25th October.

Optional site visits will take place on Friday 26th October and Saturday 27th October ( fee not applicable), registration will be based on first come first served and open early March 2018.
